| Pupil
absence
If your child is absent due to illness,
hospital/doctors appointment or other reason, please
inform us as soon as possible either by phone/fax,
or email. This is important as by law we need to
keep an accurate record of pupil absences and we
need to cancel dinners for the absent child.
If you expect your child to only be absent for the
morning and return for dinner, please confirm this
so we can make sure a dinner is ordered.
If you need a holiday form you can
get one from the school office or download and print
it out by clicking the following link: HOLIDAY

| Dinners
and Snacks
Cost of school meals is £8.50
per week, all money to be sent in an envelope with
child’s name and class written clearly on
it. For a copy of the menu click HERE.
The menu can change without notice.
Children who bring packed lunches
need to have it in a suitable container, clearly
marked with their name.
If you feel your child is entitled
to free meals, forms can be obtained from The Welfare
Benefits section of Hewson House, NOT St Luke’s
School.
We
provide healthy snacks and drinks at intervals daily.
These are necessary for the children but cost several
thousand pounds each school year. To offset the
cost, we ask parents/carers to make a voluntary
contribution, if they can afford it, of £3.00
per half term. If for any reason parents cannot
make a contribution their child will still get snacks
and drinks. Contributions need to be sent in an
envelope with the child’s name.

bottoms, ‘T’ shirt/sweatshirt and plimsolls
or trainers. No black-soled shoes please as these
mark the P.E. hall floor.
Kits will generally be kept at school for a half-term
